Based on a semi-autobiographical novel, this is the story of little Anna Kemper and her family, who flee Berlin on the eve of the fateful election in 1933. Forced to leave her beloved plush rabbit behind, their desperate flight takes them from Zürich, to Paris, and London, and Anna must find courage, in this tale of upheaval and harrowing circumstance.
