Two years after zombies have overrun the earth, the German towns of Weimar and Jena are the last holdouts of human civilisation. Two young women, Vivi (Gro Swantje Kohlhof) and Eva (Maja Lehrer), flee the confines of the Weimar zombie-free community. Their journey brings them into a lush and beautiful post-apocalyptic landscape: in the absence of humans, nature has taken over. Finally realising that the fight against the undead may not be theirs, a new understanding emerges.
Expect a very different kind of zombie film written, directed, shot and produced by women. Berlin-based Swedish filmmaker Carolina Hellsgård directs a script written by Olivia Vieweg. Find out more about the movie and its script in our review.
'Endzeit - Ever After' will be screened on Thu 31 Oct, 7:15 PM at Golden Village Plaza Singapura. There will be a post-show talk with the director, Carolina Hellsgård.
