Fees are payable in full on enrolment and before commencement of the course, no later than the specified payment deadline. We accept payment in cash or by cheque on-site, as well as payment via NETS self-service stations and bank transfer.

Failure to make timely payment will result in loss of place in the course without further notice.

Unless stated otherwise, books must be purchased separately.

The contractually binding fee is the fee stated in the course brochure current at the time of application/on the website of Goethe-Institut Singapore.

Cancellations up to five working days (Mon-Fri) before the start of a course are free of charge. Hereafter no refund of course fees can be given on intensive courses, and a refund of course fees less an administrative fee of S$ 70 will be given on extensive courses up until the end of the first course week. Students should please consider their personal commitments and circumstances before enrolment.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. The date of cancellation shall be the date of receipt at the Goethe-Institut Singapore.

Course fees cannot be transferred to another term or another person, be it in full or in part.

We reserve the right to cancel classes with less than 8 students for extensive and less than 6 students for intensive courses. In this case a full refund will be given.

Transfers to another course level can be considered after the first course day, one time only and after consultation with your teacher and the Language Office.

In case of absence in extensive courses only, a one-time replacement session per term and student will be granted, i.e. students may visit a parallel course of the same level in the same week (strictly subject to availability of a parallel course, the replacement course not being fully booked and prior arrangement through teacher).
Our courses are designed for adult learners (age 16+). 15-year-olds may be admitted after prior consultation.

The maximum number of participants is 18 for extensive and 12 for intensive courses.

Please note that special conditions apply for young learners’ courses, one-to-one and small group tuition, corporate courses and examinations.

There will be make-up sessions for public holidays as per in-class arrangement.
