The concert will take place on November 29, 2017 at 19.00 Hrs. at Music Hall in Art and Culture building, Chulalongkorn University with free admission*.

“PIANO BATTLE” is a concert show, where two internationally acclaimed pianists, Andreas Kern and Paul Cibis go head-to-head on stage, charming and enchanting the audience with a variety of classical pieces. In this battle two musicians are the combatants and two pianos are their weapons. The stage is their battlefield and the audience decides, who wins and who loses. With full body dedication either one of them tries to convince the audience. And winning the audience‘s heart is the only thing that counts!

PIANO BATTLE has been performed for sold-out audiences in Europe, the United States and Asia, including the Shanghai Oriental Arts Center, Seoul Arts Center and an open air spectacle before 6,000 fans in Taiwan. The show has also been well received in the pianists’ home country where the artists have performed for enthusiastic audiences in concert halls and at festivals all over Germany, including the Beethoven Fest in Bonn, the Rheingau Musik Festival, the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, the Prinzregententheater Munich and the Philharmonie Berlin.

This will be the first time for the audience in Thailand to experience the new borderline of the classical piano concert with two fantastic pianists who aim to transfer their love for classical music to others and create a special kind of excitement different from the usual type of classic concert.
