From Mozart to Yiruma Britta Elschner (piano) – live in Bangkok
The Goethe-Institut Thailand proudly presents a concert by the outstanding German pianist, Britta Elschner. Our guest musician is both multiple award-winner of prestigious piano competitions and scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Association.
At the age of three, Britta Elschner took her first piano lessons and went on to study music, French, piano and solo accompaniment in Mannheim and Frankfurt.
After completing her studies, Elschner was repeatedly engaged as a soloist répétiteur at major opera houses, such as the Frankfurt Opera, the National Theater Mannheim, the Staatstheater Darmstadt and the Wuppertal Theatre. In 2009, she took up a position as lecturer in accompaniment at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts.
