At the age of 96, Miriam Weissenstein never imagined that a new chapter was about to begin in her life. But when she discovers that her late husband Rudi’s shop , “The Photo House”, is to be demolished, this stubborn, uncompromising old lady recognizes that even she needs help. On the brink of a family tragedy, a special relationship develops between Miriam and her grandson, Ben. They join forces to save the shop and the nearly one million negatives that document decisive moments in Israel’s history.
Despite the generation gap and numerous conflicts, Ben and Miriam embark on a heart-wrenching journey together, a journey that has many humorous and very touching moments and one that requires a lot of love, courage, and compassion. (Tamar Tal)
