การแข่งขันเปียโน Carl Bechstein ร่วมกับสถาบันเกอเธ่ ประเทศไทย ขอนำเสนอค่ำคืนแห่งดนตรีเปียโนสุดพิเศษ บรรเลงโดยนักเปียโนชาวเยอรมันชื่อดัง วูล์ฟกัง เกลมเซอร์ ภายใต้ชื่อโปรแกรม “Pictures” ซึ่งได้รวบรวมผลงานดนตรีที่เป็นดั่งบทกวี ภาพสะท้อนของงานอิมเพรสชันนิสต์ และห้วงดนตรีที่มีชีวิตชีวา ก่อนจะจบค่ำคืนด้วยหนึ่งในผลงานระดับตำนานของศาสตร์แห่งเปียโน นั่นคือ Pictures at an Exhibition ประพันธ์โดยโมเดสต์ มุสซอร์กสกี
เกลมเซอร์จะพาผู้ฟังดำดิ่งสู่ห้วงฝันอันลึกซึ้งผ่านเส้นทางสู่ ‘ภาพ’ แห่งดนตรี ราวกับภาพผืนน้ำระยิบระยับ ระเบียงที่ต้องแสงจันทร์ และภาพเหตุการณ์อันทรงพลังของรัสเซียในศตวรรษที่ 19 ด้วยสัมผัสที่ประณีต การวางวลีที่ละเอียดอ่อน และความชัดเจนในการถ่ายทอดอันโดดเด่น เขาเป็นผู้ที่เหมาะสมอย่างยิ่งสำหรับการถ่ายทอดภูมิทัศน์ทางดนตรีที่เปี่ยมด้วยสีสันเหล่านี้
