KINO! Germany NOW! offers a handpicked selection of some of Germany’s most promising narrative, documentary, and short films that premiered within the last year. These 13 films by 14 up-and-coming directors from Germany, all with distinct backgrounds and unique approaches to filmmaking, offer a diverse cross-section of current German cinema. 
 
KINO! Germany NOW! is a project of the German Film Office, an initiative of the Goethe-Institut and German Films, and is presented in partnership with the FRIDA CINEMA, Orange County's only 501(c)(3) not-for-profit art house theater. All proceeds directly support the Frida Cinema's mission to enrich, connect, and educate communities through the art of cinema.
