Type 1, “MoodleSession,” is necessary to use the platform. You must accept this type of cookies in order to pass from one page to the next without having to re-enter your username and password every time. If you leave the system or close your browser, these cookies are deleted both in the browser and on the server.
Type 2, “MoodleID” is for ease of use. This cookie stores your login information on the browser. This means that the “login” field is already filled out when you return to the page. You can block this type of cookie, but it means that you will have to enter your username in addition to your password every time you enter the system.
