The University of Bonn has seven faculties offering a full range of subjects: Catholic and Protestant Theology, Law and Economics, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Philosophy, Medicine and Agriculture. 

Currently, more than 38,000 students – 5,000 of them being international students from 143 countries – are enrolled in one of our 200 courses of study. 

Excellent research has been established at the university thanks to the strategic recruitment of outstanding scientists and academics. As such, the University of Bonn is one of Germany’s leading universities.

Our mission is to offer students and young researchers a high level of education and support, and to create an environment that is conducive to free academic discourse and scientific exchange.
