European University Viadrina – Frankfurt (Oder)
With roughly 6,600 students, the European University Viadrina is a fairly small yet highly international university situated on the German-Polish border only around an hour from Berlin. Its international orientation is reflected not only in the courses of study themselves, but also in the considerable proportion (25%) of international students from over 100 countries. With its three faculties – business administration and economics, social and cultural sciences, and law – Viadrina is excellently positioned in research and teaching. National rankings put Viadrina among the top universities in economics, among other areas. The high level of student satisfaction is partly a result of the outstanding support structure provided at Viadrina.
The European University Viadrina accepts successful graduates of the Studienbrücke programme from the Eastern Europe/Central Asia region, and from the USA, Vietnam and China.
