My Individual Workshop Topics
- Going Green – Sustainable Nutrition
In this workshop participants will get an understanding of their own nutritional preferences, their nutritional footprint and how to possibly improve these and furthermore get involved in educating their school community. The activities presented in this workshop will be applicable immediately in the classroom and will provide examples of differentiated instruction. Teachers of all school types and languages are invited to take part. Examples will be given in German.
- The Chicken Thief and other Picture Books in German Instruction
In this workshop participants will practice working with pictures and picture books in German as a second language. Examples of exciting activities will be provided. Participants will also have time to develop their own class material. Teachers of all school types are invited to take part.
- Fearless Grammar
How do you integrate grammar instruction into your lesson without teaching it in isolation? In this workshop participants will learn relevant grammar activities and games. You will reflect upon your own approach to grammar, practice grammar exercises and develop your own. You will go home with interesting material that you can use immediately in your classroom.
I am a Trainer because the trainer workshops are inspiring and stimulating. While I prepare my own workshops, I gain new knowledge and see new perspectives of teaching German. I also like it because the interaction with other German teachers is interesting and important. Last but not least, we travel to different places and that simply is fun!
