German for After-School Programs
German for After-School Programs
Not all schools have the means and resources to offer German as a regular subject within their curricula. To support schools with an interest in offering extra-curricular German programs, the Goethe-Institut launched pilot programs with the aim of collecting experience and developing materials for this sector. In those projects, we worked together with American colleges whose students of German participated as trainers in after-school programs at K-8 schools.
