We’ve compiled a list of German Films and German TV Shows, all with English subtitles, for streaming on various platforms in the US. Perfect for long days at home.

Goethe on Demand
In cooperation with Filmgalerie 451 the Goethe-Institut is launching an online streaming program called Goethe on Demand. It contains a still small but exquisite selection of films, is free of charge and will be available worldwide until June 30, 2020. All films are available in the original German version, with English subtitles. To obtain a password/code that allows you to view one or more of these films, please contact Karin.Oehlenschlaeger@goethe.de.

At the Goethe-Institut's eLibrary, just register and check out films for streaming for up to 7 days. Registration process is in German, but some of the films have English subtitles. When in doubt, just click on the green box!
