Kino@Goethe brings German film history to the newly renovated Goethe-Institut. On the last Wednesday of the month, at 6:30 PM, we are exploring four distinct eras of German film history, from current German blockbusters like I'm your Man and In the Fade to Weimar Republic classics like The Blue Angel and Metropolis. From banned films, like Karla, produced at the East German DEFA Studios, but never shown in the GDR, to West German New Wave filmmakers Fassbinder and almost forgotten gems like Endless Night: we invite you to discover German film history at the new Kino@Goethe.
