Geertje Suhr Potash reads from her books

Under the header “Rettungsmittel Liebe,” the German-American author Dr. Geertje Suhr Potash will read from her poems and prose.

Raised in Northern Germany, Geertje Suhr studied German and French literature in Tübingen, Freiburg, and Lausanne. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Suhr lives in Chicago and Germany. She is a member of the International P.E.N. Club and the Society of Contemporary American Literature in German.

A light lunch will be served after the reading.
