Goethe Pop Up Book Klub

Each month, we invite readers to come together and discuss works from contemporary German-speaking authors and share their experiences with a wide range of genres and formats.

The group meets ONLINE every third Thursday at 7pm PT. Simply send an email to info-seattle@goethe.de to receive the Zoom access code.

The book club is free and open to everyone interested, but participants must purchase the individual texts themselves and are expected to have read the title to be discussed prior to the meeting.
 
Feel free to read each selection in its English translation or original German; the discussion will be held in English. 

Where can I find the selected books?
 
In an effort to make our reading series accessible to everyone, we give away several copies of our current book club selection each month. These giveaways are announced on our social media channels. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for a monthly chance to win a free copy.
 
You can order all book club titles that are available in English translation from our friends at the Elliott Bay Book Company.
