The highs and lows of low-budget indie filmmaking are the focus of actor Timo Jacobs' feature directorial debut. Self-styled filmmaker Cowboy (Jacobs) has a simple goal: to leave his provincial Northern German town behind him and revolutionize Berlin’s independent film scene.
Desperate to fund his cinematic masterpiece, Cowboy quickly learns that he needs more than his self-taught film skills to survive.  Along with his rag-tag film crew, consisting of his unemployed actor friend, Kinski (Koskowski) and the homeless alcoholic, Molle (Bredin) Cowboy accepts any and every directing job he can land. Unfortunately, despite his best efforts, each project leads to catastrophic results.  When he meets the attractive and eccentric art student Yps (Van Tule), Cowboy not only falls in love, but into a wasp’s nest of “artistic” creativity that soon outmatches his amateurish approach to life and filmmaking.
