International Winterfest (US - CAN - MEX)
Join us for a live-streamed concert of the two German bands EINSHOCH6 and Berge as part of our international
Winterfest between the Goethe-Institutes in Canada, the US and Mexico.
The first 1000 ticketholders will be able to join the concert live in Zoom. Additional access will be provided via Facebook live-stream.
EINSHOCH6
For more than 16 years, EINSHOCH6 has created a unique sound, mixing classical, rap and pop music. Far beyond the German borders, the band has carved out a one-of-a-kind reputation for themselves in the area of „language education through German music“.
Berge
Band members Marianne Neumann and Rocco Horn share a similar outlook on what moves the world, what destroys it and what should be conserved of it. Berge’s songs speak to these values and truths.
Their debut album ‚Keine Spur’ gained them instant attention in the Berlin music scene and was swiftly followed by their 2015 release ‘Vor uns die Sinnflut’. Especially their song ’10.000 Tränen’, a moving piece about animal welfare and the moral dubiousness of modern lifestock farming went viral and has more than five million views on Youtube.
