Rainer Werner Fassbinder's final acting role in this 1982 cult classic by Wolf Gremm casts him as an alcoholic police lieutenant sporting a leopard-skin suit and foiling a bomb threat in a dystopian West Germany of the future, ruled by a corporation which controls the media and suppresses all murmurs of dissent or unhappiness.

The interdisciplinary costa compagnie presents fragments from its piece Conversion / After Afghanistan, followed by an artist talk. Drawing on interviews with soldiers, diplomats, and others about the war in Afghanistan and the withdrawal of German and US troops, the groups' performance tries to understand a war that was claimed necessary to safeguard international security.
