As a cultural institute focused on German and Germany, our students and visitors come here for similar reasons. Through our courses and our many events, you will have many opportunities to make new friends with similar interests.
Every October, we host the annual Career Booster Germany, where visitors can learn about work, study, and internship opportunities in Germany and for German speakers in the United States. With a career fair, workshops, and panels, visitors learn from and network with representatives from Germany-affiliated organizations right here in New York.
When you are one of our students, you become part of our community and have many chances to win prizes. In our courses and during our events, we regularly hold contests for our students. Previous prizes have included, among other things, free language courses or a trip to Germany!
Every June and December, we hold a party for our students and visitors. Join us for snacks and drinks, make new friends, and have fun!
