During the month of his 200th birthday, the Goethe-Institut pays tribute to Karl Marx (born May 5, 1818, Trier) and invites New Yorkers to reflect about his legacy and to discuss the contemporary relevance of his work in a series of programs, including a symposium and a number of film screenings.
