With an Eye on Germany emphasizes the idea that by exploring universal commonalities and avoiding the temptation to sightsee, one can better reconnect with their roots.
A fourth generation German-American, Beckers‘ photography is inspired by the work of documentary photographers such as Walker Evans, Alfred Eisenstadt, Gary Winogrand, and Baldwin Lee. He currently lives and works in Kansas City as a commercial photographer and designer.
