At his private residence near the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco Bay, the Honorable Hans-Ulrich Tanner, Consul General of Switzerland in San Francisco, will be hosting a special VIP fundraising reception to support the 22nd Berlin & Beyond Film Festival.

Join us for a wonderful evening to lend support to America's leading festival of contemporary cinema from German-speaking countries, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Goethe-Institut San Francisco Director and Berlin & Beyond President Sigrid Savelsberg and Berlin & Beyond Director Sophoan Sorn will unveil the cornerstone films from the upcoming festival.

Enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres and a premium dinner menu. Dinner will be accompanied by a variety of wines hand-selected from the Consul General’s private cellar.

Since 1996, Berlin & Beyond has welcomed some of the greatest talents of European cinema, with the likes of Swiss actor Bruno Ganz, Daniel Brühl, Doris Dörrie, Hannelore Elsner, Werner Herzog, and Wim Wenders, and has presented over 500 motion pictures to an audience of over 175,000 people in theaters from San Francisco to Silicon Valley to Mendocino to Honolulu!

Each ticket will include complimentary access to the Opening Night Film and Party of the 22nd Berlin & Beyond Film Festival, taking place at the legendary Castro Theatre on the evening of February 9, 2018 ($70.00 value).
