Radioeins live in San Francisco – daily broadcast from 10 am - 12 pm
From October 9th to October 12th 2018, radioeins
from the German radio station Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb
) in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut
will be broadcasting for five hours daily from New York and San Francisco. Within the framework of “Radiobrücke USA”, radioeins
will focus on the complex political, social and cultural situation in the US and on current changes.
will be broadcasting daily at 7 pm MET (10 am – 12 pm in San Francisco). The two radio hosts Anja Caspary and Christiane Falk will dip into California's local music scene. Greg Errico, founding member of the legendary band “Sly & the Family Stone” will be our guest, and maybe also “Dead Kennedys’s” Jello Biafra. Ranging from late 60’s hippie music to San Francisco’s contemporary music, the team of radioeins
is going to focus on California's sound and lifestyle: How do you live in a city where it is impossible to find a room in a shared apartment for under $1,500, and to what extent do Silicon Valley's wealthy tech elite shape the city? Two radioeins
listeners from Berlin will support the team. There will be interesting guests, reports, and a lot of California music during radioeins
’s visit at the Goethe-Institut San Francisco.
