Great opportunities for studying and working in Germany
Kicking off the Year of German-American Friendship for students in and around Seattle the Goethe-Institut San Francisco and the Goethe Pop Up Seattle invite you to their career day at the University of Washington. Meet with representatives from German companies, universities, foundations, exchange organizations, and the German Honorary Consul to learn more about how you can succeed with German. At this exciting networking event, you can explore options for career paths, professional training, German university degree programs without tuition fees, scholarships, and apprenticeships in Germany and in the U.S. In the morning high school students will have the opportunity to attend various workshops on topics related to studying and working in German(y). During panel discussions students can get directly in touch with speakers who have made a career with German or in Germany. Last but not least, students can stop by the info booths of our partners to receive more information and have their questions answered.
The afternoon program will be geared towards college students, graduates and anybody interested in career opportunities in Germany.
Participation is free. We kindly ask everyone (except high school classes) to register on Eventbrite, so that we are able to estimate how many people to expect.
There is a limited number of travel stipends of up to $200 per school group available. Please send a mail to Julia.Koch@goethe.de to register your class and apply for the stipend. Due to the limited number of grants, we award them on first come first serve basis.
We look forward to welcoming you to our Career Booster Seattle on November 30!
