Open Call for Ignite Creativity Grant (ICG) 2021/ (March – June)

The Ignite Creativity Grant, an initiative by the Goethe-Institut HCM City, is an open call for local Vietnamese artists nationwide with a focus on 3 main topics:

  • Sustainability
  • Gender Equality
  • Digital Transformation
The artist may choose one or more of the aforementioned topics. This project will help support the makers in creating a narrative and an impact on social issues with any chosen artistic mediums.
 
Accompanied by a mentoring program facilitated by German and/or Vietnamese experts within the chosen artistic fields. There will be 3 sessions within the project – The beginning; mentoring, the middle; critical feedback and the end; a project review, between mentors and mentees.
 
The Goethe-Institut HCMC believe that the ICG will give artists a platform for a multitude of creative ideas to shine a light on important social issues.
 
The Goethe-Institut Ho Chi Minh City will be supporting a limited number of projects with a  fund up to 25,000,000 VND per project. We welcome submissions for both digital and live events/projects.
