Adapting to virtual and digital communication of Vietnam's local CSO

To enhance capacity of ethnic minority women to adapt with Covid-19 pandemic.

The project aims to improve the communication and environmental education capacity of the Center for Nature Conservation and Development (CCD) to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic, to enable more effective behavior change in communication for nature conservation, and support sustainable development in remote and underdeveloped areas. This project will set up a pilot model for a women-led communication team of the Ha Nhi ethnic minority in Y Ty commune, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province. In addition, with the acquired expertise and experience, CCD will then cooperate and share with other civil society organizations (CSOs) to replicate the model, improve the capacity of Vietnam CSOs to contribute to the country's efforts in biodiversity conservation and sustainable development.
