Marie (Rosalie Thomass) comes to Fukushima as member of a relief organization to make life easier for those who fled the disaster and are now in a camp. There she meets Satomi (Kaori Momoi), the last geisha of Fukushima. They decide to leave the camp, Marie because she is full of "German fear" of the radiation and Satomi, because she feels an urge to return to her destroyed village. - Now in solitude, two cultures meet. "You eat too much," insists Satomi Marie, as they take their first meal after the dusty and sad clean-up of their small house. Marie, who can barely keep her long legs under the traditional low table, observes the petite, graceful Japanese woman. From her she learns that drinking tea is more than showering tea bags with hot water. And that "set up" has another dimension than to set up furniture and decorate with decorative objects.
