Marc Lizano & Ulf K.
New stories of father and son
Erich Ohser published his comics about Father & Son in the 1930s under the pseudonym e.o.plauen. Now Marc Lizano and Ulf K. have taken up the popular characters in "New Stories of Father and Son" in a congenial way, reinventing new adventures of the two immortal characters. A little colour, a gentle shift in the drawing style and props from our everyday life give the comic the right amount of novelty, without lacking respect for the original (Marc Reichwein, Die Welt 02/06/2016)
Marc Lizano (*1970, France) since or 1998, designer, illustrator and scriptwriter for the youth edition (Flammarion, Le Rouergue, Milan…) or the comic strip (La Gouttière, Noctambule, Le Lombard…). Between 2010 and 2013, co-founder with Joël Legars of Gargantua editions (35 titles published). Since 2017, teacher and trainer at CESAN for Staging and narration in comics.
Ulf K. (* 1969 Germany) studied in Essen and Paris. In 1997 he founded his own publishing company. His comic books appear in Germany, Switzerland, France, Canada, Finland and the United States. He has already been awarded the Max and Moritz Prize.
