Vocational Training | Dental assistant

Ms. Hong Thu, Tran moved to Germany in 2015 at the age of 20 to study media. After two years, she decided to switch to an apprenticeship as a dental assistant because she realized early on that vocational training offered her a secure professional future. Thu fortunately always had her family’s full support. What she enjoys most about her job is interacting with people. Also, there will always be a high demand for dental assistants in the future. The work is varied; it involves looking after patients, assisting during the treatments, lab or office work, administrative tasks, and accounting. Another plus is that it offers ample opportunities for further education and training. If assistance tasks prove not to be challenging enough, she will have the option to go to college and become a dentist herself. She is happy with her decision to move to Germany; her education, her work and her social relationships bring her great joy in life.
