Our library was enlarged, and in the new entrance area you now find the library counter, an iPad table with many learning and game offerings, a movie corner and a cozy seating area for study advice. The reading room has been extended, too: Additional workplaces with a view into the green surroundings, improved lighting, due to modern air-conditioning a pleasant room temperature and completely new shelves – including built-in-seats for relaxed reading – ensure optimal learning and reading conditions. The computer lab was also redesigned and got new laptops, on which all learning opportunities and also the eLibrary service of the Goethe-Institut can be found at a glance. We want to thank the students of the Hanoi Architectural University, who came up with many good ideas in their semester project, and the German architect Tobias Küster-Campioni, who designed the new library and led the renovation work: We are excited – as well as the first 350 visitors who celebrated the inauguration with us during the Open House Day!
