As the Project Coordinator of the “Das Karriere-Navi nach Deutschland”, you can contribute your experience and expertise to managing an important project in the field of labor migration.
The Goethe-Institut is the global cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany. With many years of experience, the Goethe-Institut qualifies people worldwide linguistically and interculturally and prepares them for life and work in Germany. With its learning and information offerings and its global network, it provides competent support throughout the entire migration process. The “Karriere-Navi nach Deutschland” is a project initiated by the Goethe-Institut Vietnam to support Vietnamese young people who are interested in vocational training or diploma recognition of a Vietnamese vocational training degree in Germany.
The Goethe-Institut Hanoi is looking for a Project Coordinator for “Karriere-Navi nach Deutschland” (local contract) starting April 1, 2025 (or earlier). The position is initially limited to two years, with the possibility of renewal.

What you wil be doing:
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Developing and implementing train the trainer models for advising of beneficiaries interested in work migration to Germany.
- Monitoring progress of beneficiaries in the project.
- Planning and implementing online and offline information events together with German partners.
- Communicating with network of German partners to assess their needs and monitor progress of partnerships.
- Coordinating with the team to develop and implement marketing and communication measures as well as activities for the beneficiaries.
- Monitoring, documenting and reporting on project results.
Your Profile:
- At least 3 years of experience in coordinating and managing development projects in the fields of education and culture.
- Being good at developing and maintaining relations with different stakeholders.
- Having experience working in a multi-cultural environment is a plus.
- Mastering tools of project management and evaluation. Having good computer skills, including MS office applications.
- Being critical and good at problem-solving and time management skills, as well as teamwork.
- Being able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and open to learn new things.
- Being fluent in English and Vietnamese. Having a good command of German is a plus.
- Having basic understanding of German skilled migration law is a plus.
