This retrospection of the Goethe-Institut's dance activities over the past 20 years shows the main line of international cooperation. Not every event is listed here. Also, not all dancers and choreographers who participated in workshops and productions have been appreciated by name. I would like to ask for your indulgence.
Allow me please to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for participating in the offers of the Goethe-Institut. The goal of the Goethe-Institut is to serve the great idea of international understanding and peace. What was called friendship among peoples in the GDR, and what is now called international cooperation at eye level, is the goal of the Goethe-Institut.
