Over the years, there have been many seminars, workshops, master classes in the fields of dance and performance at the dance academies in Ho-Chi-Minh City and Hanoi, in the multifunctional hall of the Goethe-Institut and wherever there was a space to practice. That has always been part of the professional communication on the side of guest performances. On special request, German guests came to hold a workshop, such as Dieter Heitkamp and Susanne Triebel did from 2016-2018.

The Goethe-Institut brought Dieter Heitkamp to both HoChi-Minh City and Hanoi. He was dancer, choreographer, teacher and director of the Contemporary and Classical Dance Education Department of the University of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt am Main. His workshops were assisted by Susanne Triebel and, on one occasion, by Emma Juliard. Dieter Heitkamp also brought material (translated into Vietnamese language) for an exchange about curricula for dance education. The practical outcome of two of his workshops was STYGMERGY, a production with 20 students from Ho-Chi-Minh City and Hanoi. The show was given in both cities.
