Beate Rösler presents her new book that covers 60 years of German-Vietnamese history.

After the death of her adoptive mother, Tuyet finds letters from her biological mother from Vietnam. Does that mean she didn’t want to break off contact with her daughter? In search of answers, Tuyet travels from Frankfurt to Hanoi, where she meets the young Linh in the city on the Red River, and deeply immerses herself in the foreign exoticism of her homeland. One day, when she meets Linh's mother, Tuyet is suddenly closer to her past than she suspects...

We would like to cordially invite you to the author reading and discussion with Beate Rösler. Light refreshments and snacks will be served. Please note that this event will be in German only.
