Franz Kafka was a passionate moviegoer. His diaries give some clues into this direction. Dr. Trần Ngọc Hiếu will speaks about the influences of cinema on works by Kafka and will give some examples from historic film footage.

Much of Kafka's novels and stories suggest that Kafka felt inspired by the new medium film. It inspired him to try out similar narrative forms in his literature.
We owe such findings to Hanns Zischler, which films, scenes and actors had an effect on Franz Kafka. Kafka connoisseur Dr. Tran Ngoc Hieu introduces into this interesting aspect of Kafka’s writing and will give some film examples.
