 What is the project #GoetheAtHome?

When the Covid-19-pandemic hit in March of 2020, the Goethe-Institut did the responsible thing. We closed our doors and cancelled all events.

Then we had a dilemma: We knew we would not only miss out on the things that we do, but also the people we meet. Be it through open discussion, working with partners or chance encounters in the hallway - the connections we make with our audience is a major part of what we do and one that is very enjoyable!

Along with the sister project #GoetheSounds we started to show a more personal side of us on social media.

Our #GoetheAtHome series is all about the people! Every week, one staff member has a portrait made and talks about their work at the Goethe and what is going on with them right now. Below is a chronological collection of all the posts we've made for the series.
