Mary-Anne McAllister
Mary-Anne McAllister is a creative producer based in Durban, South Africa. Her work is focussed on building collaborative networks to help cultivate a space of growth and opportunity for young creatives. Her practice includes creative producing, fine arts and curatorship. She graduated in 2017 with an Honours in Fine Art from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
She is a producer for Substance Point, thirdspace and Art for Humanity. She has worked on many collaborative projects, national and international art exhibitions and programmes, volunteer curatorial work and shown work as an exhibiting artist. Her most recent collaborative work as an assistant producer, Playable Cities: Future Leaders International (2021): British Council, was a set of hybrid digital labs between Bristol (UK), Lagos (Nigeria) and Durban (South Africa).
