Born in South Africa, Eastern Cape, Buntu Fihla (ND Graphic Design; Cape Peninsula University of Technology, 2006) is a visual artist and founder of Dlala Indima (NPO). After spending some time working commercially in the advertising industry, he decided to refocus his skills in graffiti art, preferring to work outside of the urban centres.

In 2010 Fihla participated in VANSA's "2010 reasons to live in a small town" public art project and created Dlala Indima in Phakamisa, Eastern Cape. The project received local and national reviews and has developed into an NPO which uses arts and recreation as a tool for social cohesion and positive change. In 2013 Fihla was listed in Mail and Guardian's Top 200 Young South Africans. Bunt's first solo exhibition "Isizathu esihle singafila ububi" is a series of photographic prints and a multimedia offering that showcases a range of public art created in site specific buildings in the Eastern Cape.
