Lending
The library is open to the public. Books and materials may be used in the library free of charge. A valid library card is required to borrow books and other materials. A library card can be obtained upon presentation of proof of identity (ID, driver’s licence) and completion of the registration form, which is available at the library or can be downloaded. Please note that the library card is not transferable.

Using the library
Students enrolled in the language courses of the Goethe-Institut are entitled to free library membership for the duration of the course. Please bring student cards for registration.
Yearly membership (valid for 12 months)
Adults: Free
Pensioners, students, kids & teenagers under 18 and unemployed persons: Free
Please bring proof of concession for registration.
The loan-period for all media types is 3 weeks. A maximum of 8 items, of which no more than 3 are VHS/DVDs, may be taken out at a time.
