Christine and Conrad have a modern family: he is a stay-at-home dad while she brings home the bacon. The family faces a huge challenge when Conrad goes back to work as a theatre director: the au pair is completely out of her depth and their daughters Käthe and Emma are totally against the new state of affairs. Conrad’s actors treat him differently after he becomes a stay-at-home dad and Christine pushes the boundaries of his new dual role. It is only when Conrad is in over his head that it becomes clear that something has got to give. © ARD
