Language Fair: 13H00 - 17H00
South Africa has 11 official languages and most South Africans know the importance of being able to speak a neighbour’s language. The European Day of Languages is an opportunity to experience the linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe without having to pack or sit on a 12-hour flight. The Alliance Française, in partnership with the Goethe-Institut and other European language and culture organisations, has planned a fun-filled programme for this year’s Day of European Languages: Try out our Speak Dating and learn the basics of European languages in a social atmosphere, join in a multilingual karaoke competition, or experience the outside market offering culinary delights and loads of information from the participating countries.
