Performed by Fana Tshabalala and curated by Constanza Macras, “In the Heart of the Country” is a physical exploration inspired by the “impossible dialogue” between black people and white people in JM Coetzee’s literature and Njabulo Ndebele’s book, Rediscovery of the Ordinary.
This work was created in residency and is a co-production between Constanza Macras |Dorkypark and Forgotten Angle Theatre Collaborative @ Ebhudwleni Arts Centre Mpumalanga South Africa and Studio 44 Berlin Germany.
