In true cinema style, the European Film Festival’s curtains will be drawn on the 21st of June 2018 as South African film enthusiasts get an opportunity to experience the best in European cinema titles. The festival will run until 01 July in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town showcasing 10 award winning films from 11 European countries including the UK, Germany, France, Spain, The Netherlands, Poland, Belgium & Flanders, Sweden, Austria and Denmark.
Some of the selected film for the 5th edition of the festival include
I Am Not A Witch (UK),
Amateurs (Sweden),
Verano 1993 (Spain),
Mademoiselle Paradis (Austria) and
In The Fade (Germany) with more titles still to be announced.
The 5th European Film Festival 2018 is a partnership between the Delegation of the European Union to South Africa and Ster-Kinekor, funded by the 11 participating EUNIC member countries and coordinated by the British Council South Africa.
