In the first Imagination Night of 2019, Hub@Goethe participants Ivy Rihlampfu (Basile Art and Projects) and Phetogo Mahasha (Cinema Charismatic) aim to illuminate newness and make the invisible visible through art. Animation artist Phetogo hopes to encourage a refocusing on the theme of African Renaissance through storytelling and artworks in his animated TV pilot “High On Air”. Ivy stresses the importance of arts education by teaching people about art and the worth and potential that comes with art collecting. She hopes to give a platform for young, unknown artists in South Africa. Join us for another great event that highlights the growing scene of cultural and creative entrepreneurs in Johannesburg!
