The Society for German Language in Johannesburg invites the writer Didi Drobna, born in Bratislava and living in Vienna, who will read from her novel “Als die Kirche den Fluss ueberquerte”. The book was published last year and received the “Floriana” literary award in Austria.
Also reading from his work will be Swiss author Christoph Keller who has not only written many novels, short stories and plays but is a well-known personality in the cultural life of Switzerland, too.
The reading will be in German. It is presented in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut South Africa and the Austrian embassy.
