CONNECTING PEOPLE & SPACESWe would like to invite you to our next Imagination Night, our event series that showcases the work that the young cultural entrepreneurs of the Hub@Goethe programme do.
This time around, we focus on connecting people and spaces through creativity and dialogue. A trained dancer, Thabiso Pule is all about creating new interactive performance formats to engage with audiences. He will present his start-up Creative Tree and the ideas behind it. Accompanying him will be Tumi Moroeng, who represents the Makers Valley Collective – community group hoping to make a positive change in the Johannesburg area of Troyeville and the surrounding neighbourhoods through creative programmes.
Be prepared for the extraordinary: when these two creative minds get on stage, they will make sure you laugh a little, move a little and learn a lot!
The Goethe-Institut’s Imagination Night series have proven to be an inspiring networking platform for upcoming cultural and creative entrepreneurs – have a drink, meet like-minded people and experience an interactive event posing questions around entrepreneurship, start-ups and the creative side to business!
The Imagination Nights event series is an extension of the Hub@Goethe mentorship program for creative entrepreneurs and serves as a platform of exchange for anyone interested in cultural and creative industries. Led by a presentation of current Hub@Goethe participants, the evening aims to connect and strengthen networks for entrepreneurs.
Taking place every last Wednesday of the month, the next date for the Imagination Night is 25 September, with presentations by
Thabiso Pule (Creative Tree) and
Tumi Moroeng (Makers Valley Collective).
