The Goethe-Institut South Africa is excited to collaborate with Book Dash on a pan-African Book Dash, with creatives from all over the continent coming together to produce new children’s storybooks on 26 October – and all of that in just 12 hours!
Book Dash is a South African-based social impact publisher of uniquely African books for young children. Based on research, Book Dash believes that every child should own one hundred books by the age of five to improve literacy levels. To date, they’ve produced 128 original books using their fast-paced, innovative method that harnesses the power of creative volunteers.
All books are free for the world to use to promote access to high-quality, relevant African picturebooks and increase a love for reading.
