We would like to invite you to our next
Imagination Night. This event series is an extension of the
Hub@Goethe mentorship program for creative entrepreneurs and serves as a platform of exchange for anyone interested in cultural and creative industries. Led by a presentation of current Hub@Goethe participants, the evening aims to connect and strengthen networks for entrepreneurs. Have a drink, meet like-minded people and experience an interactive event posing questions around entrepreneurship, start-ups and the creative side to business!
As a culmination of the current series of Imagination Nights, the Goethe-Institut will host
In: Dialog. This is a collectively run event which originated from collaboration of Goethe-Hub participants. It includes an exhibition with parallel workshops & panel discussions as well as performances related to music, spoken world, dance & food. - Our aim is to not only create a platform for visual and performing arts, but also a safe space for conversations surrounding current topics relevant to South Africans and Africans and in this case the world as we open up our event & arts to Bangkok and Kosovo for this edition.
This month our shared topic is
Gender & Digital as a response to it being Pride Month, recent events of gender-based violence and also the topic of gender in business as touched on by two hub collectives
IZWI Worker’s Alliance & HerArtistry. These are also issues being navigated in different yet relatable ways in both Kosovo & Thailand.
Technology will not only aid us in communicating and exploring these issues but digitality itself will be explored as a possible means of improving discourse, dialogue and a way to mediate safer spaces.
